I am an educator, musician, and community organizer. For 29 years, I was a Music Teacher in the Oakland Unified School District and an elected member of the Oakland Education Association. 

I am running to address housing, healthcare, education, and other challenges in our district. I refuse corporate and superPAC donations so I am accountable to YOU.

As a longtime registered Green, I champion our core values for People. Planet. Peace.
